Lull Telehandlers
Ever since 1959, Lull has been making telehandlers. Their machines have been made for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This system provides much more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide a large range of optional attachments and these telehandlers are available to help you complete your needs, while being efficient and safe at the worksite. If both precision and accuracy are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to complete everything you require.
The Future
To be able to make rough terrain forklifts as functional as possible, numerous attachments have been designed and developed like winches, booms, and rotating fork carriages, to allow the forklift to place materials more precisely. The booms or articulating booms come with 2 different extendible arms and can reach up and over structures in order to position loads in the upper or center floors or on interior roof slope settings. New products and attachments are being made and designed all the time and would debut in the future.
Many improvements have been made with extra safety features becoming more prevalent. Like for instance, load-reach management devices could automatically restrict the forklift's reach, based on the load being handled as opposed to relying on the operator. Pressure sensors are used to be able to know the load weight. This information is sent to a small electronic memory device that had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
The boom's memory will compare the extension and the angle of the boom with the safety limits, when the load is being placed into position. There is an important lock-up device or a warning system which prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the boom to fail or the forklift to tip over.
