Used Snorkel Man Lift Antioch

The Advantages of a Man Lift
Man lifts offer a safe and easy method to fix problems at areas which are very high to reach by other means. Mechanical lifts enable personnel to lift safely to a high work location. Often, man lifts are used by service and construction personnel to perform work on light poles, buildings and other places that are too up high to reach by other ways.

Safety
The main factor when utilizing a man lift is of course taking safety into consideration. Ladders are not a practical alternative for extreme heights and hence man lifts are the best option for these places. Most of these equipment are equipped with safety rails and emergency shut-off switches to make worker safety a top priority.

Range
Man lifts can reach certain heights that other machines cannot reach. This machinery was first used to pick fruit, but has evolved to take on other tasks. For instance, they are commonly used for changing light bulbs and to do finishing work in the construction business. Typically, man lifts are capable of reaching heights of 20 to 100 feet.

There are smaller man lifts that can operate indoors to perform tasks in areas like large office buildings, hotels and sports arenas. They are capable of being powered with electricity. This eliminates the harmful fumes and their associated hazards.

Engine-Powered Boom Lifts
If workers have to be transported to their height destination quickly and efficiently, an engine-powered boom lift is the solution. Boom lifts provide a wide range of mobility. These equipment can also be moved in a variety of directions. Boom lifts can also easily fit into narrow spaces. Every "joint" in the boom lift is controlled to adjust to different heights to be able to place the worker exactly where she or he must be in order to get the task completed. The engine power system is what allows boom lifts to reach their full elevation in not a lot of time. Firefighters often utilize engine powered boom lifts when they need to quickly ascend to heights during a rescue mission.
