End Control Forklifts
The stand-up end control forklift is an extremely flexible equipment and is well known in the material handling business. These machinery have great performance characteristics that are somewhat like sit-down electric forklift models.
Ideally, these forklift truck models are suitable for warehousing operation settings which have limited space. Their working aisle requirements are often less than those required of a three-wheel electric forklift truck. These machines are an ideal alternative for applications which need frequent on and off access, since their stand-up design is an exceptional feature.
The reach truck is a loading equipment utilized by various companies who maintain a storage facility that involves the arrangement of finished products on pallets and materials which are stacked or stored into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck offers safe and easy retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent choice for people who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not require yet in an efficient and safe way.
The basic reach truck model is outfitted with an out-rigging mechanism located on the front of the truck. A set of telescoping tines which move up and down are mounted to the out-rigging. The forks also have a hydraulic system which enables the operator to lift the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This design not just offers a lot more balance to the whole load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to maneuver into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
When the reach truck finds the shelves that are designated for the pallet, the hydraulics allow the forks to swing into position and lower the pallet into the shelving, sliding the pallet into place. Typically, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet wide without difficulty, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
