Designed for Safety
Yale is famous for providing safe lift trucks that are flexible and adaptable for many different applications and tasks. The ability to design and make units for better safety comes from the new technology which is available in the material handling business and the company's experience.
In their latest designs, Yale has started incorporating newly available technologies. Some of the new technologies that are available are initially applied to forklift trucks and after that proven further through functionality and durability testing. The company performs many reliability development and controlled field tests in order to ensure their products are really safe.
In order to improve overall safety, Yale has designed and developed lots of new features, that have been integrated on lots of models such as:
Operator Compartment Ergonomics and Controls
The operator compartment has been engineered with ergonomics in mind, using state-of-the-art technology. These designs help to ensure that the operator avoids exhaustion as well as heavy repetitive motions. These added comforts help to increase overall efficiency.
Adjustable Operators Controls and Compartment
Adjustable operator controls allow the operators to choose the positioning of their necessary controls. This helps make the machine user friendly, regardless of who is operating it. Before beginning their shift, the operator could make sure he or she is as comfortable as possible.
Operator Presence System
The Operator Presence System prevents the hydraulic system operation from being used if the operator is not in the right operating position. This presence system additionally disables directional travel on trucks which have IC engines.
Swing-Out LPG Tank Bracket
The drop-down design brings the LPG tank out from the protected center of the truck and down to the operator's natural handling position making the tank easier to change.
